Your answers will help us to match you up with the right pet for your circumstances. Our aim is to achieve a good match for both the adoptive family and the pet.

Trial period
We offer a minimum 4 week trial period with all pets and will take pets back if not compatible.

Rental properties
Please be aware that many rental properties do not allow pets. Adopting a pet in these circumstances can not only jeopardise your lease and potentially make it more difficult for you to find future pet friendly rental accommodation, but it potentially jeopardises the future security of any pet you may adopt under these circumstances. We strongly recommend that for both the pet’s and your own sake that you do not adopt a pet if you do not have secure ‘pet friendly’ accommodation. We have seen too many of these pets surrendered, ending up once more on Death Row at the pound when their owner had to move.

Cats and kittens
Adoption fee of $200 for one cat ($150 for 2nd) which includes:

• Vet check
• 1st vaccination
• Micro-chipping
• De-sexing
• Flea/Worming treatment
• Additional $40 if FIV testing has been done
• Additional $50 if lifetime registered

Dogs and puppies
Adoption fee of $400 for one dog ($350 for 2nd) and includes:

• Vet check
• 1st vaccination
• Micro-chipping
• De-sexing
• Heartworm testing
• Flea/Worming treatment
• Lifetime council registration is included for adult dogs
• Life time council registration is not generally included for pups, and this remains the responsibility of the new owner.

Rabbits
Adoption fee of $150 and includes:

• Vet check
• 1st vaccination
• Micro-chipping
• De-sexing
• Flea/Worming treatment
