Hello, my name’s CAESAR. Unfortunately just as I was about to be adopted, my home fell through, and not only that, but my foster family had to move unexpectedly. Now, I have just one wish ….a loving foster family or forever home, so I don’t have to stay in emergency boarding. Can you help me?

This is my story….
I was rescued from the pound about 3 years ago, and just in time too! My 7 days were up and I was due to be put to sleep, which is commonly what happens to doggies like me who sadly, are surrendered to pounds by their owners, or found wandering the streets. I was not in good shape at all. I had a tumour on my eye, and various lumps on my skin. I had no confidence either. I was frightened if people spoke in loud voices and it took me some time to build up my confidence and develop into the happy doggie I am today. See my lovely Staffy smile!

I had a big year last year. I had various skin lumps removed, and benign tumours from my eye and spleen. My family at Sydney Pet Rescue & Adoption love me very much, and they were so relieved that I got a good bill of health. Last year I also had my teeth polished too. After all this, I’m a new man! I’m a happy healthy boy and have been well loved by my current foster carer who has helped me develop into the lovely, happy doggie that I am today.

Sadly in 2015 I had another tumour behind my right eye and they had to remove my eye together with the tumour. I also had a cruciate ligament repair and have been a very good boy with all my exercises. I have adapted well and am enjoying life.

I am a mature, sweet natured and generally well behaved boy, about 9 years of age. I am desexed, micro-chipped and my vaccinations and flea and worming are all up to date. I love to go for a walk on my harness each day. I respond to commands like “sit” and “stay” if you offer me a treat. I am used to being an indoor-outdoor doggie. I love to be inside with you when possible, and especially at night. I have been kept as a single doggie, and prefer to go to a home or foster home where I will be a single doggy. I need a home with no cats or other small animals, or children under 10 years of age. I am not used to going to off leash parks. I need a medium sized yard and a new foster carer or new owner who has dog experience, preferably Staffy experience, and time to walk me regularly.

I am still patiently waiting for my forever home. I know it’s out there. I’m just waiting for my forever family to find me. If you have room in your heart, and your life for a lovely boy like me, even if only temporarily, please contact my family, Sydney Pet Rescue & Adoption on 0403 254 960 for more information. PS I come with a hamper of Goodies. Thank you for reading my story. Love from Caesar x
