Benny and Charlotte spend so much time snuggling together, it’s sometimes hard to see where one cat ends and the other begins.  They have been known to squeeze into the same bed and transform into a single two-headed cat!  There have even been a couple of times where they have both sat on my lap together – quite an honour as Benny is not normally a lap-cat like Charlotte.  They are completely inseparable, but have quite different personalities which come out in funny ways.  They love playing together and Charlotte will often lie in wait for Benny and jump on him when he turns the corner – very amusing to watch!

Charlotte is a dainty pale orange tortoiseshell with the cutest stripe down her nose.  She is timid at first and will hide until she gets to know you, but then her cheeky affectionate nature will come out and she will soon be demanding to sit on your lap the minute you flop onto the sofa.  She loves company and will often follow you room to room, happy just to be near you.  She is talkative and has a different meow for every occasion, especially food time.  Once she is completely comfortable with you she has a lovely quiet purr that comes out when being petted curled on your lap.  She is tireless when playing and will continue to tear around long after Benny gets bored/tired.  Her favourite toy is a piece of string dragged across the floor – she will chase this all around the room and over the furniture.  She also often amuses herself by batting a toy about and chasing it down the hallway, skidding on the wooden floor.  Any hair ties left on a table will quickly disappear and become Charlotte’s newest toy!

Benny is a gorgeous charcoal tabby with bright yellow eyes and white bib and a lovely quiet nature.  He is initially less shy than Charlotte, but still takes a little while to build up trust, though he does appreciate and respond to affection.  He loves being brushed and will roll around on the floor and gently head-butt you if you stop.  He also really enjoys a good belly rub and scratch behind the ears.  His favourite toy is a scrunched up ball of paper to chase or attached to a piece of elastic and flicked down a corridor – he will chase at full tilt.  Benny is not usually as vocal as Charlotte, except when he wants to play.  You will hear him coming to find you, making an odd-sounding meow due to the toy in his mouth!  Benny knows his name and will come when called.  He is also an opportunist when it comes to food, so take care not to leave choice items (tuna!) on a kitchen bench as he will jump up and eat it.
These two will make a lovely addition to your family.  Can you offer them a furever home ?
